Received a P-100 along with a motherboard which wasn't being used.
Pulled everything out of my 486 based Linux server and
replaced it with this. This system is currently acting
as my print/file server for my home network. I plan to
swap it with my Gateway system, making the 486 Gateway the
server and this another work system when I can obtain a
faster CPU than the P-100.
Swapped this with my 486 desktop since linux didn't need a fast
Pentium to act as my file/print server and the faster box was needed
to handle Windows and current games. Thus, this is now the second work/game
system on the network here. |
